Rapid Transformational Therapy: What Is RTT And How Does It Help?

Sharing is caring!

Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) is one of the coolest self-development tools I’ve come across.

It’s also great for healing as well.

As you likely know, self-improvement, overcoming personal setbacks and healing from traumas (physical and mental) isn’t easy.

That’s why I LOVE RTT. The speed at which you get results is extraordinary and exciting.

You might be wondering…

What is Rapid Transformational Therapy? Rapid Transformational Therapy is a hybrid therapy that offers fast and achievable results by combining the best of neurolinguistic programming, hypnosis, cognitive behavior therapy, and psychotherapy. RTT uses hypnosis to access the subconscious mind which will reveal, reprogram and change restricting beliefs with command therapy and positive reinforcement. Results are achieved when the limiting beliefs, mental/physical issues, and behavior patterns are identified and then treated.

What Are The Benefits Of Rapid Transformational Therapy?

The promise of achievable results in just one session may sound new age-y, magic fairies nonsense but RTT is based on solid science.

The brain is made of the conscious, the subconscious, and the unconscious.

The conscious mind is the part of the brain we use every day.

We use it to communicate to others and ourselves with speech, actions, symbols, thoughts, and writing.

Think of the conscious mind as the main screen and keyboard of a computer.

Information is entered into the computer via the keyboard and shown on the monitor.

The subconscious mind is the part of the brain that handles recent memories and stores these to be easily accessed.

Notice how when you do something, you just go on autopilot; you do it without thinking of the process or the steps to perform the task?

Going back to our computer analogy, the subconscious mind is the RAM where all the files and data currently in use are kept for easy access.

The unconscious is the part of the brain where everything that we have experienced and learned is stored but access to it is limited.

Access is limited because the memory is repressed, no longer important, or consciously forgotten.

These memories and experiences are what shape our habits, beliefs, and behaviors.

In the computer, the unconscious is the hard drive.

With hypnosis, access is granted to the unconscious which lets you recall memories and learn why we respond to words, ideas, and actions the way we do.

The unconscious and the subconscious work to make sense of all the information you have received since birth and keep you surviving.

The mind follows the logic in that if what you did has worked in the past, doing it again will get you through similar situations even if the results were hurtful, unhelpful, or just plain misguided.

We are the product of our experiences.

A computer has a viable working life of three to five years before it becomes obsolete and is replaced.

The same is true with our brains.

We need updates from outdated ideas to perform at its peak and achieve more.

By reprogramming the mind, we overcome bad habits, limiting beliefs, and self-destructive behavior.

Here are ways in which Rapid Transformational Therapy is beneficial:

  • It helps to boost your confidence and improves communication skills.

Reviews: What Are People Saying About Rapid Transformational Therapy

Many of the reviews about RTT treatment or training available online have glowing, positive comments concerning the treatment and how impactful the outcomes were.

Reviews from people who had RTT sessions with Marisa or an RTT-trained therapist gush about the lasting and positive effects of a session had on them. Issues such as alcoholism, depression, panic attacks, fear of flying, lack of clear communication skills, stuck in a rut, etc were addressed and resolved.

Here’s one from A.R. of London, “…90 minutes,  … took me from being confused and lost about my purpose in life, to uncovering my strengths and identifying my role in the world. A combination of  the Healing Vortex and hypnotherapy, left me feeling energized, refreshed, and focused.” ( 1)

Lucy Gleeson from Kent shares everyone should have an RTT session  “I spent 90 minutes… and as I [sic], I feel amazing! After many years of therapy, self-help techniques and searching for a calmer way of life, I finally found it! I have lived with anxiety and low self-esteem for over 40 years, it has stopped me from being my true self, reaching my full potential and basically feeling happy. Now I feel calm, I am able to speak with conviction about who I am and what I do. I am the happiest I have ever felt and feel like nothing will stand in the way of me fulfilling my purpose in life.” (2)

An Admin Manager from Sydney, Luci talks about losing hope in therapy after seeing therapists for 30 years but getting no results. She relays her experiences,  “I have had two sessions…a colleague recommended RTT to me. I wasn’t sure at first but I have no regrets. I feel like I am slowly starting to transform. I know I have a bit of work to do. I am starting to believe that I have the power to change my negativity into a more positive way of looking at myself and gain control over my life. … is the first therapist I have seen that has been able to give me hope and show me that my life is changing for the better.” (3)

And here’s what Judy Groves had to say about Marisa Peer, “About 15 years ago I was determined never to fly again. My fear of flying had become a phobia and nowhere was worth the distress of getting to. But then I was asked to fly to New York on business. I felt I had to go. A friend told me about Marisa and so I went to see her. She was amazing. Under hypnosis, the cause of my extreme anxiety was uncovered and  Marisa taught me how to overcome it. I flew to New York with absolutely no problem and have since taken many long-haul flights. I quite often enjoy flying now, even take-off and landing. So, a big thanks to Marisa!” (4)

How Much Does Rapid Transformational Therapy Cost?

A typical Rapid Transformational Therapy session lasts 90 minutes.

Each session costs anywhere from $130 to upwards of $400.

Comparing price points to traditional talk therapy sessions, the cost per session is the same.

On average it would be around $150 per session per hour.

Long term costs are where RTT has an edge. RTT would show actual breakthroughs after one or two sessions as opposed to four or more sessions with a traditional talk therapist.

This avoids dependency on talking out issues but never getting to the root to resolve the trauma that makes the habit self-destructive and repetitive.

Who Are Candidates for Rapid Transformational Therapy?

Anybody who suffers from low self-esteem, people who have fought personal battles with their past, people who have had enough of feeling low and want to take charge and succeed in their life are prime candidates for a session of RTT.

RTT is ideal for people who seek relief from their issues and are fed up with unsuccessful traditional talk therapy sessions. The fast results you gain from undergoing a session means you don’t have to go through life weighed down by your issues.

One session could help you recognize the behaviors that cause you to self-sabotage, get to the root cause of these beliefs, and reprogram your brain to be receptive to positive suggestions that will take root as new beliefs and better habits.

What To Expect During A RTT Session?

RTT is a solution-focused therapy.

Using guided hypnosis, the therapist gets you into a relaxed and suggestible state. Your subconscious is open for you to explore the parts which hold the answers that you may or may not have been aware were hiding there.

But before you go into a trance, your therapist will discuss what you wish to achieve and the desired results for the issue(s) you want to be addressed.

You are next placed in a hypnotized state where the subconscious is in a high-state of focus and more receptive to positive ideas and new ideas will be able to take root, and new habits will form.

You will be given recorded audio that you’ll listen to for 21 days.

This is the positive reinforcement where the “seeds” planted in your subconscious during the session will grow and take root.

Rapid Transformational Therapy Book

Marisa Peer has written 5 books all based on the premise that the thought patterns and mental habits of a person can be damaging or helpful to their success, depending on how they use them. She teaches that our belief and acceptance of our self-worth are the root causes of emotional problems and personal issues.

With her “Mastermind Your Life” series, Marisa teaches “simple steps that produce dramatic and life-changing results.”  Her book “I Am Enough” teaches self-acceptance to become free of self-sabotaging thoughts and self-destructive behaviors.

Marisa’s books do not teach Rapid Transformational Therapy. Instead, it utilizes RTT techniques of conditioning the mind to unlearn long-held beliefs that are detrimental to our success because it holds us back. Reprogramming the brain to not buy into the doubts will help you live a happy, motivated, and confident life, not just on good days but consistently, all the time.

Conclusion: Is Rapid Transformational Therapy Worth All The Hype?

Let’s put it this way.

You are in charge of your life. If doing RTT will help ground you and get focus on what you can change and how you to change it.

Go for it.

The reviews are positive, and reflect genuine relief at the results achieved after RTT sessions.

There are free session offers on Marisa Peer’s site and RTT practitioners also have complimentary sessions.
